We provide a multi-year, hands-on agricultural training experience that equips participants with the skills and resources to succeed in sustainable farming.
Year 1: Exploration & Exposure - Site visits, short-term internships with local farms.
Years 2-4: Specialization - Focused training on select farms, mentorship in farming operations.
Final Year: Community Integration - Partnering with municipalities to grow food under contract, ensuring financial sustainability and local impact.
Additional training includes small business management, grant writing, and financial planning, provided through partnerships with UVM’s Agroecology Department.
We collaborate with local governments to:
Establish farming agreements where farmers grow food for local distribution.
Provide municipal support for land access and housing for farmers.
Strengthen food sovereignty through community-led food production and policy development.
